Services Available at Magnolia Manor
Choosing an assisted living facility for you or a loved one should not be taken lightly. We understand this which is why we offer many services we feel are important to you. Some of these services include:
- Skilled Staff
- Magnolia Manor has a caring staff as well as a on-call nurse that is available 24 hours a day to help take care of you or your loved one.
- Monitoring
- 24-hour closed circuit video monitoring system. (Something about privacy here.)
- On-Site Rehabilitation Services
- We have contracted with Tri-State Rehabilitation to provide on-site rehabilitation services to our residents in need of physical therapy. This on-site program is a great convenience to our residents and their family members.
- Counseling Sessions
- Through Region IV we are able to offer our residents daily group therapy sessions, individual one on one counseling sessions and activities designed for those with a diagnosis of dementia and special needs. A master level psychiatrist is also available to monitor medications and make suggestions to individual physicians to ensure medications are ordered appropriately.
- Advanced Care Services
- Our advanced services provide extra services to residents who initially were assisted living residents but have declined in health, but not to the extent of needing skilled care in a nursing home setting. These advanced services affords those residents the ability to stay in an assisted living environment and avoid a skilled care nursing home environment for a longer period of time.
- Church Services
- Preachers from different churches in the area come in once a week and deliver a message. Need a little more content here.
- Social Activities
- Magnolia Manor has a full calendar of events to help keep our residents engaged (re-word)... Some of these events include going out to eat, going to see a movie, going to the bowling alley as well as other outside events. We also have events inside Magnolia Manor; some of these include arts and crafts, bingo, singing and much more. I would like to have a little more in here about how imporatant it is that seniors stay active in their daily lives both physically and mentally.How the activities are developed and planned around that idea.
